Students
entering kindergarten or 7th grade in 2010-11 must have certain
current immunization documentation in their school file
before the new school year.
It is not too early for back to school shots for 2010–11!.
To schedule an appointment for
back to school immunizations, please call the Leon County Health Department at
606-8020.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, and
all children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents should bring a copy of their child’s complete immunization record.
(Remember, to call your pediatrician or health care provider if your child needs a school physical. Children entering Florida schools for the first time
will also need to have a school physical before registering for school.)
